Project Introduction: This project is the pioneering compound semiconductor R&D and production base of Pioneer Core Optoelectronics Technology (Wuhan) Co., Ltd., a landmark, multi-billion-yuan initiative aimed at industrializing high-end compound semiconductor materials and chip devices. The project was officially signed and settled in Optics Valley in March 2024, with a total investment of 12 billion yuan. It spans a massive 260,000 square meters of construction space, comprising 19 buildings—including a research and development center, a production scheduling hub, and several office complexes. Huakang Cleanroom has been awarded the contract to build a critical section of the production facility, making this an exceptionally significant component of the overall project. Once fully operational, the site is projected to annually produce over 800,000 substrate/epitaxial wafers. Upon reaching full capacity, the facility will be capable of manufacturing approximately 50,000 gallium arsenide chips, 10,000 indium phosphide chips, and 300,000 optoelectronic devices each year.

Scope of construction: Includes, but is not limited to, the procurement and installation/commissioning of equipment and materials for architectural decoration and renovation, structural systems, plumbing and drainage, gasification, HVAC, power, electrical, automation, fire protection, communications, and security systems within Production Buildings #1 and #4, Wastewater Treatment Station Building #5, Power Plant #6, Solid Waste Storage Facility #7, Tank Area #8, Emergency Containment Pond #9, Chemical Storage Facilities #10 and #11, Hydrogen Station #20, Wastewater Pools #21, and Wastewater Pumping Station #22 located within the park.
